Set Sail On The Belevari Catamaran Cruise

Set Sail On The Belevari Catamaran Cruise

We arrived fashionably late, blame it on the long drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and an unforeseen road accident on Sheikh Zayed Road, but we made it on the Belevari Catamaran Island Cruise. By pure luck, they were kind enough to wait for us. We had made the reservation two weeks prior, so despite feeling completely under the weather that weekend, we went ahead and set sail. Fresh air and sunlight is naturally therapeutic, so in the end I was glad we didn’t cancel.

We climbed on board a 74 foot catamaran sail boat with a spacious trampoline deck that could accommodate up to 70 people. The cruise lasts for 4 hours in total, with 2 hours of sailing to and from a picturesque virgin island, the perfect docking station to swim, enjoy beach activities or just lay back and bathe in the sun.

It was a splendid day to be out at sea, the pleasant breeze swept through my hair so I never broke a sweat, and the sunlight warmed my skin but didn’t burn, fortunately as I had forgotten to lather on sunscreen prior to embarking on the cruise. Good thing the Belevari Catamaran Cruise had it all covered, with a selection of sunscreen and tanning lotions for the taking. What’s more, you never go thirsty or hungry, with unlimited water, soft drinks and light snacks generously served to all guests by the cordial and attentive staff.

It was worth the long drive from Dubai to Abu Dhabi to experience sailing across the Marina to a private island where we lazed about on the deck overflowing with cold drinks, snacks and music that kept everyone’s spirits high and bodies grooving.

There’s something very calming about staring at the vast blue ocean. It gives me a sense of inner peace, a feeling of freedom, being free from the everyday hustle on land. A girl can forget even if only for a day.

After cruising down the Abu Dhabi Marina we anchored at a private island, prime location for soaking in the sun on the pristine ivory sand, and wading through the lukewarm crystal waters. And for everybody’s amusement, some guests took turns somersaulting off the boat making quite a splash!

The private island called Hijab Island is derived from the Arabic world ‘hijab’ which means ‘veil’. If you walk just a few meters down the coastline you feel like you have the whole island to yourself, beats a public beach any day!

And with that, we bid adieu to the Hijab Island, a secluded paradise off the coast of the Abu Dhabi Marina. Our escapade comes to an end and we set sail yet again, back to the real world that awaits us…and the two hour drive back to Dubai. Book your Belevari Catamaran Experience today!

Its such as you learn my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, such as you wrote the ebook
in it or something. I feel that you just could do with some
p.c. to drive the message house a little bit, but other than that, that is excellent blog.
An excellent read. I will definitely be back.

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your content seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser
compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed
    soon. Many thanks
