Fridays are best served with a delectable spread that turns lunch into a fanciful affair for the palate. Cafe Bateel celebrates a decade of culinary excellence with their 10th year Anniversary menu that comprises of new as well as classic Mediterranean dishes with the Bateel signature. Cafe Bateel originated in Saudi with the agriculture of dates, and now has 29 cafés in 5 countries, serving food made with the finest organic ingredients. But good food isn’t enough without good service, and Cafe Bateel’s hospitality was exceptional!
Let’s start at the very beginning…and that’s with a rainbow refreshment layered with orange, pineapple, grenadine and lemon juice. Feast your eyes on the delicious starters and the main courses that made up the Cafe Bateel special 10th Anniversary menu. Now, what tickled my fancy? The Lobster Rigatoni made of slow-cooked lobster in curry sauce, sautéed in tomatoes, lemon and coriander, which has enticed me to whip up this recipe at home. And second, the Beef Tagliata grilled to medium perfection as ordered, on a puddle of mushroom sauce with a side of mashed potatoes.
You’ll certainly satiate your hunger with lunch at Cafe Bateel but even if you’re not in the mood for a hearty meal, there’s a plethora of dessert and pastry options for a tempting snack with a hot cup of tea or coffee. Such like the Sweet Apple tart and Passion Fruit Raspberry tart from the 10th Anniversary menu.
