Beach Babe. Summer Baby Mama Style.
I’ve just got three months to go before my beautiful baby comes into the world, and I’m so excited. But now summer in Dubai is in full swing and it isn’t really the best time to be frolicking outside especially if you’re pregnant. I have a hard enough time keeping cool in the office when prior to my pregnancy I always felt cold indoors. So this is most definitely the last photo I’ll be taking on the beach until the beginning of winter.
These are my must-haves this summer: A Straw Hat, Crochet and Chiffon. With straw hats, the wider the brim, the better – to protect your face from the harsh sunlight; and you can dress them up with colored ribbons and scarves to complement your outfit. Crochet has a beachwear vibe, but you can wear crochet boleros and cover-ups through summer with any casual ensemble whether you’re hitting the beach or not. Then there’s Chiffon, my ultimate favorite fabric because it is light, breathable and free-flowing.
