I teamed up with Marks & Spencer to style two looks from the new Spring collection. The first is a night look that can take you from a morning power meeting to an intimate evening rendezvous with your special someone.
Whenever I choose an outfit for the evening, I always think first if I could make it work for day and night, especially if I have to head straight to an event right after work. Dressing with this in mind saves me the hassle of carrying an extra bag of clothes to work and rushing to do an outfit change at the end of the day.
While I was browsing through the new collection at Marks & Spencer, I was immediately drawn to this little red dress. I suppose you could say it was love at first sight! The dress is made of good quality material that doesn’t wrinkle which makes it a perfect dress to transition from day to night. It’s also very flattering to the female form as it’s quite slimming. It has a front zipper so it’s easy to slip into without needing anyone to help zip you up.
This look was inspired by the Day of Hearts – the annual Valentine’s Day tradition. And what better way to attract your man’s attention the whole night through than to be clad in this sexy, yet sophisticated red dress.
To finish the look I paired the red dress with a black laser cut bowling bag that’s a great size to keep in all your essentials, and suede pumps lined with zipper detail at the sole.
